Amanda Shirtcliffe
A new strategy, a complete redesign and rebuild, and SEO from the ground up for a British para equestrian athlete.

Who it’s for
Amanda Shirtcliffe, a Grade I para equestrian athlete from Milton Keynes who competes for Great Britain in para dressage and para carriage driving, and the sponsors, event organisers and supporters who want to get behind her.
The challenge
Elite para sport runs on partnerships, and a sponsor’s first stop is usually a search for the athlete’s name. Amanda’s story, her two sports and what she offers partners needed to be easy to find, and to make the case for backing her as soon as someone landed.
What we built
A new website from the ground up, shaped around a clear strategy: a bold Team GB look, pages for her story, para dressage, para driving and her horses, a speaking page for event bookers and a page for Ride High, the charity she’s patron of. Sponsorship sits at the heart of it, with partnership options, past brand partnerships and a page of its own for every current partner. Amanda gathered the words and photography; we organised them into a site that does the work.
Highlights
- A new strategy built around sponsors, bookers and supporters
- A complete redesign and rebuild, with a bold Team GB look
- SEO throughout: page titles, descriptions, structured data and share previews
- A page of its own for every sponsor, with a link back to their business
- Clear routes for partners, event bookers and Ride High supporters
How we approached it
Strategy first: who needs to find Amanda, what they’re searching for, and what should happen next. Then SEO built in, not bolted on: a search-friendly title and description for every page, structured data that tells search engines who she is and who backs her, clean addresses, breadcrumbs and proper share previews. Every page leads to the same next step, partnering with Amanda, and every sponsor gets seen. MOSH is Amanda’s website partner, so the site is something we back as well as build.
