The future, made practical.

AI, post-quantum security, blockchain and whatever comes next: what’s real, what’s hype, and what’s worth doing now.

A round opening in a dark concrete ceiling, casting a pool of fluoro-yellow light on the floor.

Every week brings a new headline: AI agents, quantum breakthroughs, serious talk of superintelligence. Some of it matters to your business now, much of it doesn’t yet, and it’s hard to tell which is which.

We help you cut through it. We build practical AI tools that save real time, get your security ready for the post-quantum era, and use technologies like blockchain only where they genuinely solve a problem, as with the tamper-evident records behind Metal Stack.

What it covers

What’s included.

  • 01Practical AIAssistants, document search and drafting tools that work with your own information, handled carefully.
  • 02AI automation and agentsWorkflows that sort, summarise and act, with a person in the loop where it matters.
  • 03AI policy and safe useClear, short guidance for your team on which tools to use, and how.
  • 04Post-quantum readinessFinding where you rely on today’s encryption, and planning the move to quantum-safe cryptography.
  • 05Blockchain, where it fitsTamper-evident records, timestamping and verification, without tokens or speculation.
  • 06Horizon scanningQuantum computing, superintelligence and what’s next, explained in plain English for decision-makers.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

  1. 01Separate signal from noise

What’s actually possible today, and what it would really mean for you.

  2. 02Find the use case

One real problem where the technology clearly earns its place.

  3. 03Prove it small

A focused pilot with real data, measured honestly.

  4. 04Roll out safely

Security, privacy and documentation built in, plus a view of what’s next.

  • You know AI could help, but not where to start.
  • You’ve been asked about your “post-quantum plan” and don’t have one.
  • Someone has pitched you an AI, blockchain or quantum project and you want a straight answer.
  • You want to experiment without putting customer data at risk.

Questions

Common questions.

Is AI safe to use with our business data?

It can be. It depends on the tool, its settings and where data is processed. We help you choose options that keep your information private, and write down simple rules for your team.

What is post-quantum cryptography, and should we worry?

Future quantum computers could break much of the encryption used today. Post-quantum cryptography replaces it with algorithms designed to resist them. The UK’s National Cyber Security Centre has set out a migration timeline running to 2035, and the first step, knowing where you depend on cryptography, is worth taking now. Our note on what to do now explains more.

Should we be planning for quantum computing or superintelligence?

Not in the way the headlines suggest. Neither changes most organisations’ priorities this year. What matters is staying informed, keeping systems adaptable, and acting on the parts that are real today, like post-quantum security and practical AI.

Do we need a blockchain?

Usually not. It’s the right tool when several parties need a shared record that nobody can quietly change. For most other jobs a well-run database is simpler and cheaper, and we’ll tell you so.
